How the Giving Program Works

When your school joins Bright Start Supply, every parent purchase from your school's branded store automatically generates a rebate to the PTA. There's nothing to track, nothing to reconcile, and nothing for parents to opt into — the giving is built into our pricing.

Parent shops your store

Families order uniforms from school.uniformsupply.com — same pricing they'd see anywhere else, no surcharge.

We accrue the rebate

A percentage of every order (after taxes and shipping) is automatically tagged to your school's PTA account in our system.

PTA receives a payout

Each quarter we send the PTA an itemized statement and an ACH deposit to the account on file. Funds arrive in 2–3 business days.

Rebate Tiers

Schools earn a higher percentage as more families enroll. The tier is evaluated each quarter using the trailing-12-month order count, so a slow start never penalizes you forever.

Percentages are calculated on the merchandise subtotal, before shipping and sales tax. PTAs at Title I schools start one tier higher at no cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the rebate built into uniform prices?
No. Our prices are the same as if your school weren't enrolled — we cover the rebate from our margin. Parents never pay more so the PTA can earn more.
How is the rebate paid?
Quarterly via ACH deposit directly to the PTA's bank account. Each payout includes an itemized statement (orders, totals, rebate per order) so the treasurer can reconcile against the PTA's books.
Are there minimums or set-up fees?
No minimums and no setup fees for the PTA. We pay the rebate from the very first order. Your only commitment is signing the simple Vendor & PTA Agreement (one page, e-signed).
Who in our school signs the agreement?
Typically the PTA president (or treasurer) plus the principal or business manager. We provide a simple one-page agreement that references the rebate percentages, payout schedule, and cancellation terms.
Can the school use the rebate however it wants?
Yes. The funds are unrestricted and go directly to the PTA's bank account. We don't earmark them, and we don't ask for receipts.
What if my school doesn't have a formal PTA?
The rebate can be paid to a Booster Club, a registered 501(c)(3) parent organization, or a school-affiliated foundation. If none exists, we can pay it directly to the school's general fund — contact us to set up the arrangement.
Can the rebate be increased for fundraising weeks?
Yes — we offer a 2× rebate weekend twice per school year, which PTAs often promote during back-to-school week and again in winter uniform-refresh season. Just give us 14 days' notice.
